ABOUT US

Who we are

Whether you are a beginner who just wants to learn what Ultimate is all about, or if you are a seasoned veteran looking for a way to keep playing the sport you love, the University of Chicago Women's team would love to have you play with us.

The national governing organization USA Ultimate describes it as the "non-stop movement and athletic endurance of soccer with the aerial passing skills of football." Another key component of Ultimate is the "Spirit of the Game": Ultimate tends to be a fun, spirited sport. Check out these 10 simple rules for a crash course in the game.

We generally practice 2-3 times a week (twice during the week and once during the weekends), complemented by strength/conditioning workouts done in smaller groups, and compete in several tournaments a season. We are a close-knit group that values competition, sportsmanship, and fun. So come and see what playing for Supersnatch is all about!
